From Pledge to Practice: The Ten Conditions of Bai’at at Jalsa

Saira Bhatti and Bareera Ghaffar explore the Ten Conditions of Bai’at as taken in the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and, more specifically, how these principles are exemplified, or should be exemplified, during Jalsa Salana. Worshipping God sincerely, being truthful, controlling our anger, being humble, serving humanity, putting our faith before worldly interests, and constantly trying to improve ourselves. Jalsa is not merely a convention; it is a living manifestation of our efforts to abide by the conditions of Bai’at, to strengthen our connection with Allah through Prayer, remembrance, and sincere devotion and to be of service to others.
