I would like to ask the Muslim world, do you love the Prince of Peace, the Mercy for the whole of mankind, our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? Do you trust his word? Surely, you must have firm conviction in the truth of the revelation he brought, the Holy Qur’an? If you do, then why, dear brothers and sisters, would you reject the Caliphate of the latter days as foretold by our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? Perhaps you have been denied the right to understand, perhaps no-one has cared to explain, so please, permit me to do so!
You certainly know that the early Islamic Caliphate, the Rightly-Guided Khilafat, was fundamental in the progress of Islam the world over. When Islam suffered the greatest loss of all, the passing away of our beloved master (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), it was Caliphate that held the Muslim body as one. However, this golden era after the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was to draw to an end, as he himself had prophesised:
‘Prophethood shall remain among you as long as Allah shall will. He will bring about its end and follow it with Khilafat on the precepts of prophethood for as long as He shall will and then bring about its end. A tyrannical monarchy will then follow and will remain as long as Allah shall will and then come to an end. There will follow thereafter monarchial despotism to last as long as Allah shall will and come to an end upon His decree. There will then emerge Khilafat on precept of Prophethood.; Thereafter the Holy Prophet said no more.’ (Masnad Ahmad)
Read again, the words of the one most truthful of all. In describing the future of Islamic Caliphate, our master gives such detail on the conclusion of each era, bar the last, for the final Caliphate is one to last until the end of time, torch-bearing the truth of Islam. Indeed, today, there is only one Caliphate that claims, and claims boldly so, to be the final true Caliphate on the precept of Prophethood; it is the Caliphate of the Messiah and Mahdi of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be on him), the Caliphate about whom our master, commanded,
‘Even if you have to go crawling over mountains of ice, you should go to him and convey my greetings of peace to the Mahdi and swear allegiance to him because that Mahdi would be a vicegerent of God.‘ (Sunan Ibn-e-Maja)
You may wonder, if Caliphate was to be such a fundamental role in Islam, why do we see no mention of it in the Holy Qur’an? Indeed, it is so clearly revealed, for he who seeks to read the Holy Qur’an without the darkness of prejudice, Allah the Almighty gives Muslims the following glad tidings,
‘Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then who so is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious.’ (Surah Al-Nur Chapter 24: Verse 56)
Certainly, this great prophecy could only be true through the Messiah and Mahdi of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who placed his blessed hand on his Persian companion, Hazrat Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) and said ‘If faith were to go up to the Pleiades, a man from among these would surely find it.’ (Bukhari). Certainly, no-one knew better what lay in store for Islam, than its beloved Divinely guided Founder.
My heart bleeds on seeing the state of the Muslim world today; embroiled in war, divided and misled by a clergy with vested interests. This is but the consequence of ingratitude of Allah’s favour, and of rebelling against the blessing that Allah Almighty has sent down on earth. On the contrary, we see that the Caliphate of the Messiah of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), stands strong, united, and prosperous, enjoying its Divinely promised succour.
I say to the Muslims out there, do not deny the favour of God Almighty on Islam. Open your hearts to see the unity, the peace and the truth of the Caliphate of the Messiah. Allah Almighty has thrown down His rope, O’ Muslims, hold on fast to the Hablullah, the rope of Allah, for there is no way out of darkness but this.
