Dear Humans!

Generations after generation we have been flying over this beautiful planet. You must have noticed us in many different types and colours.

Our community in this part of the world is extremely concerned about the current situation which we have not been able to understand.

We continue to notice many changes but remain clueless about the reasons.

In the past few weeks we didn’t get to see as many humans as we used to. We used to enjoy flying around flocks of people and used to get some food from you too. But now we find all those places empty with hardly any humans moving around. Perhaps all of you are hiding or maybe you are all busy doing something important.

We have also noticed that your crawling machines and flying machines are also seldom seen now. We are deeply worried about this situation and cannot comprehend the reason behind all this. Though these machines do cause bird fatalities each year which is very sad. We don’t know much about these machines and sometimes fail to notice them and lose our lives. But we also know that many of you are extremely concerned about us and the environment and are really kind to the world.

It is spring time and the weather is getting warmer. These days used to be fun. We love to fly around flocks of humans and their kids in parks and other public places. We were used to seeing happy people around us. But now many of us are questioning if someone has ‘caged’ humans? Being the ones with wings we deeply deplore the very concept of confinement and cages. We  occasionally do see people moving around but we notice them far apart, we notice them avoiding each other!

Some of us think that perhaps humans are doing this to clean the air, which I must mention is easier to breathe these days. We want to let you know that if you wish to clean the air please don’t abandon public places just abandon your machines instead or perhaps use them only when necessary. We understand you don’t have wings and do need these machines. We don’t have a problem with humans in fact we have co-existed with you since times immemorial. We love humans. Its just that we want you to love us and this planet a little more. Which we are sure you all will; and you all want to!
